Here comes GYK : an experiment in the free circulation of technological expertise.
Knowledge should - by definition - be a common shared
good.
GYK means "GIVE YOUR KNOWLEDGE" i.e. share your expertise.
This initiative involves people with competencies in the field of information technology and communication.
Those people act as facilitators/trainers, helping others to master new technology that will render them more autonomous in their daily
lives.
We are looking therefore for teachers - even though they have never been teachers - who
wish to assume that role ; our first recruits have allowed ASPHI to organize training sessions aimed at simulating the installation of a home wifi network with Internet connections in different rooms, giving advice on purchasing IT tools, solving small technical problems, and modifying pictures and creating
texts.
If you have any interesting competence/knowledge to share with people with disabilities, please
contact us at : staff@asphi.it.
